As Northwest was preparing to receive its first Boeing 747s, the company's entire corporate identity received a complete makeover - from logo and aircraft paint scheme to literature, ticket offices and gate holdrooms. Uniforms as well would see a fresh look at the end of 1969. As part of the design review process, several uniform concepts were sketched - and we are proud to be able to offer new clothing pieces inspired by that work.
Made of 100% polyester, the front-sided vibrant color print offers a silky finish along with a keeper loop for holding the tie tail. This unique and exclusive design allows you to demonstrate your style and appreciation of mid-century modern fashion, airline history, and support for our museum's work!
