The most infamous and still-unsolved hijacking took place on Northwest Flight 305 on Thanksgiving eve, 1971. Captain Bill Rataczak, then-FO of the Boeing 727 operating that flight, takes us behind the flight deck door to describe what actually happened and how the crew maintained passenger safety while trying to resolve the situation without violence.
Bill's speech and question-and-answer session took place at the Northwest Airlines History Center museum on September 8, 2012.
