When the rainy season ends and cooler, drier fall weather descends upon Japan, brilliantly-colored leaves emerge across the countryside to complement the harvest and moon festivals taking place. It's Japan's second tourist season, and Northwest was the airline to introduce the rest of the world to this beauty.
